 The village market

The Village Market Nairobi is a large shopping, recreation and entertainment complex in Nairobi, Kenya. Village Market accommodates over 150 stores outlets covering 210,000 square feet of retail space, 20,000 square feet square feet of office space, in addition to recreation and entertainment facilities.

The Village Market is located in the Gigiri residential area which is about 9.7 km from Nairobi town center on Limuru Road. The complex is designed to resemble an open-air African market, including waterfalls, rivers, plants and gardens.

Village Market has outlets offering products and services of different categories. There are over 35 shops selling local and designer wear, fashion, accessories and footwear. At Village Market you will find Nakumatt supermarket which stocks household products, electronic equipments and furniture  among other products. Village Market is also home to a Diplomat exclusive supermarket whose commodities are exempt from duties and the VAT tax.

Food Court and other restaurants offering local African recipes as well as international recipes are found at Village Market. The restaurants are open daily and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The shopping mall offer beauty and relaxation products and services and a health and fitness center.

The Village Market has handicap accessible restrooms, a Baby Room for nursing mothers and a prayer area reserved for visitors and shoppers. You can access Village Market through 5 gates with 700 on-site parking spaces including handicap parking. A Customer Service desk is located on the 2nd level of the complex for shoppers, tenants and visitors seeking any information. Village Market is  opened daily through the week and weekend as well as holidays from 7am to 11pm.
